A Halloween Banner in Moonlight

Banners are all the rage right now so why not create a fun Halloween Banner that is quick and easy for Halloween?   I created this Banner with Close To My Heart's My Creations Banner.  It comes with 8 chipboard pennants that measure 7" x 6" and includes 7 jump rings.   There was no stamping involved on this banner and using the coordinating Moonlight Paper Packet and Moonlight Compliments Dimensional Elements made creating this banner a breeze!  I tied Black Tulle Ribbon  to each of the jump rings and added Haunted Assortments for a little bling!   I also used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge for some on the background shapes on the pennants.


 
Since the above picture is so small (had to get the entire banner in!) I'm going to show you two pennants at a time so you can get a closer look!  

The little banners on the right pennant are actually from the Compliments Dimensional Elements!  
I used Black Hemp to string them together.  Aren't they adorable?
I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge for the background shapes on these pennants. 
Left Pennant: Gold Rush - Circle; Smokey Plum - "!" <3-D Object>
Right Pennant - Black and Slate Cardstock - "Boo"< Accent 1>
Black Spider - "Boo" <Accent 4>

On the Left Pennant I made a rosette using the Smoky Plum B&T paper and the "Halloween" <Accent 2> key from the Artiste cartridge.  The banner behind the ghost and rosette is Slate cardstock cut using the "Halloween" <Accent 1> key.  On the right banner I cut a shape to attach the "eek!" compliment to.  The shape on the cartridge is "Boo!" <Accent 2>


On the right pennant, I used the smokey plum photo corners from Compliment Dimensional Elements to create another 'banner' across the top of the black cardstock.  I cut a doily circle "1" <Accent 3> from smoky plum cardstock to use behind my haunted house. On the far left pennant (shown above) and the far right pennant (shown here) you can see I attached a journaling strip from the Dimensional Elements to hang like a ribbon on the ends.

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick.
