Sympathy Card with Clemetime

This past week I found myself having to make two sympathy cards.   These are not cards that I keep on hand so when I do need one, I have stop what I'm doing to create one.  When I stop to create a sympathy card, a lot of thought goes into the card - not just about color and design but thoughts about the person for whom we lost.  Memories of that loved one goes into each piece of paper and cardstock I use, and each embellishment or ribbon that I add. It is a time to reflect on who that person and what he or she meant to so many people.

The past two weeks have been difficult for my daughter's softball team.  Two team mates lost their grandfathers.  Both of these grandfathers were avid followers of the softball team.  They were always at every game, home and away, cheering the entire team on.  They were never without a words of encouragement for the girls and always had a smile on their faces. We will sure miss them this season.

I did not take a picture of the first card I created. Time just got away from me.  I did take a  picture of the card I created on Tuesday.  I used a sketch from Deconstructed Sketches to create this card.
