Artbooking Blog Hop! - Teamwork Layout

What an exciting month this is going to be!  Each Monday in August over 35 consultants will be showcasing some wonderful works of art created with the new Artbooking Cricut Cartridge (Z1906)!  This is FABULOUS new cricut cartridge has over 700 images, can create 10 mini books and 15 two-page layouts!  It's exclusive to Close To My Heart!  I can't wait to see what everyone has created!

Our challenge is to create 4 different projects  - a 2 page layout, a card, a mini book and a home decor or giftable item using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge and any CTMH paper pack. Each consultant will choose one of the 4 and showcase her creation on each Monday in August!  This is going to be alot of fun! So let's get this party started!

If you came here from Cassandra Bennett's blog you are on the right track!  It's one big circle so when you get back to me, you know you have been all the way around!

For this week's artwork, I decided to create a 2 page layout that my clubs will be creating!  I used the Proplayer Workshop on Go Kit (G1067).  I wanted to see what papers and cardstock I would have left to work with after creating the layout from that kit.  The I worked with the papers and cardstock that were left to create my Artbooking Layout.   There was plenty left over to create this layout and more!

I used the TeamWork Layout.  Instead of using a full page overlay, I used two half page overlays on each page.   I cut the overlay from black cardstock.   Next I cut the same overlay on two different B&T papers.  I used the inside of the overlays to fill in some random spaces on my layout overlay.  Yes, it is a little tedious when you sponge around the edges of each piece, which I did, but it looks so nice!

I love how I can set the size just one time on my dial (11") and never had to change it again when I cut my title, photo mats, star border and ball!  The random stars in the top corner of my left page and on the photo mats are the negatives from the the "Teamwork" and the star border on the right page.   Nothing goes to waste here!!  Next week I will share how I used my leftover overlays to create a card!

I used the background stamp from the ProPlayer WOTG kit to stamp on my base page behind the Photo mats.  The accents on the page are from the ProPlayer Assortment (Z1879).

Remember the Artbooking Cricut Collection is ONLY Available through a Close To My Heart Consultant!  If you don't have your on consultant, you can purchase Artbooking from my website: www.stampinheaven.ctmh.com

Thanks for stopping by!  Now head over to Adeline's blog to see what she has created!  I'm sure it's something awesome!
