Scandinavian Wishes - October Stamp of the Month

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! This month we are featuring Scandinavian Wishes, a set of 12 stamps.  FOUR of these stamps coordinate with the Art Philosophy cricut cartridge! If you have come here from Beth's Naumann's Blog you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you'll find the complete list of participating consultant's HERE.

We have over 50 consultants participating in the blog.  Following the hop is easy- just click on the link at the bottom of each post and it will take you to the next blog!

I've got lots of projects to share with this set!  Once I began working with the stampset, more and more ideas came to me!  Not only did I use the Art Philosophy (Z1686) cricut cartridge with the coordinating images, I also used the Artiste Cartridge (Z1790) to create my gift boxes!  Check out my collection below and then I will share an individual picture of each with the recipe.   If you don't want to see the individual pics and recipes you can hop on over to Judy Burger's blog.   I will post the link again at the end if you want to continue to see my projects.

First up.... gift boxes!  I love the different types of gift boxes that you can make with the Artiste Cricut Cartridge!   For each box, I created a gift tag using the Art Philosopy Cricut Cartridge.  I used the To:/From: stamp with Twilight ink on the outside masking the "To:" and "From:" to give a nice border that matches the shape of the gift tag. I stamped one of the words in the center with Ruby ink.  Then I stamped the To:/From: stamp again inside the tag.

And Last but not least a simple ornament!  This was so easy to create!  I cut the ornament image 5 times onto Champagne cardstock.  I stamped each one with Twilight ink then added Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel (Z1313). After the glitter gel had dried I creased and then folded each ornament down the center.  I glued each ornament together.  I strung a piece of hemp through the hold at the top of the ornament and tied a ribbon around the top.  These were so easy!  I may have to make a few more to add them to my StampinHeaven Christmas tree!

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my projects!  Remember, Scandinavian Wishes is only available from October 1 to October 31.   You can get this stamp for just $5 with a $50 Close To My Heart purchase!  Contact your consultant today!
