July Stamp of the Month - Life is Wonderful

Welcome to the July Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! This month we are featuring Life Is Wonderfula set of 8 stamps. If you have come here from Tracey Pierce's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you'll find the complete list of participating consultant's HERE.

When I saw this stamp last year when we first got our new Annual Inspirations book, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this set!  It is perfect for creating a 'chalk art' card.  This is a fun technique to use.  For my card, I wanted to have another color besides white so I used the Pear Pigment Ink.  I tried going for one of the brightest colors of pigment ink because on the black cardstock it makes the ink appear darker than it really is.

I used a piece of Topiary cardstock from the Paper Fundamentals Cardstock Adventure Assortment (Z2032).  I added Topiary Mini Chevron Ribbon (Z1929) and a Durables Triangle Stud (Z1928) to finish it off.

Here is another card I created using this same technique that I will be teaching in my July Technique Tuesday class. If you are local to me and want to attend this class, check out my Upcoming Events tab on this blog for more information.

Remember!
This stamp is just $5 when you spend $50 in Close to My Heart products during the month of July!  If you don't already have a consultant, shop my website at www.stampinheaven.ctmh.com

Now it is time to hop over to Dana Kessler's blog and see what she has created!
You are in for a treat!
