Why I Became a Close To My Heart Consultant - Blog Hop

Welcome to a very special blog hop!  The month of April brings us a BRAND new consultant kit that is at a new lower price!  To celebrate, Close To My Heart is also rewarding new consultants that sign up in April and submit $350 in sales in their first 30 days with a choice of any of Close To My Heart's Cricut collections or $100 in SPC.  Now, that is an awesome way to get your business started!

The SOTM blog hoppers are bringing you a special hop this month.  We wanted to share with you our WHY.  We all became part of a Close To My Heart for many different reasons. We all have different backgrounds and interests, but one thing we all have in common is our love for  being a Close To My Heart consultant!

So sit back and read our stories and find out what inspired us, what brought us to Close To My Heart and why we are still here today.   Like our other hops, this hop is one big circle.  If you came from Tammy Lubick's blog you are on the right track!  When you get back to me or wherever you began, you will know you have completed the hop.  Enjoy the artwork but be sure to read the testimonials!

So.... what brought me to Close To My Heart?
It all began with a class I had attended at a scrapbooking convention many years ago that was taught by Tina Sutton a CTMH consultant.   It was my very first exposure to CTMH.  I had not heard of it until that day.   But that day a tiny seed was planted to be cultivated later.   It was about 6 months later, when I was looking at a Close To My Heart Idea book that the seed began to sprout.   My husband was leaving his job to start his own business.   We needed to cut back on some things to save money and guess which 'thing' was in my category to cut back on!  Scrapbooking supplies!!   So, what if I signed up to be a consultant so I could get a discount?  Maybe I could sell to my friends to make a little bit of money so I could not only save on what I bought - but to PAY for what I bought!  Sounded like a plan to me!  I discussed it my husband and he said "Go For It! But remember - you get out of it what you put into it".  Yes..... I know that.... I'd give it a year and see how it went.

1st and 2nd Generation stamping
I remember getting my new consultant kit.   It was like Christmas to me!  Included with my kit were two ink pad colors - Topiary and Hollyhock.  WOW.... I just kept stamping with these over and over and showing my friends exclaiming - Aren't these the most beautiful colors you have ever seen?? These colors will be forever favorites in my book.   So - in honor of those two colors I've created some art work to share in this blog post using the two colors that came in my new consultant kit!

Fast Forward 10 YEARS LATER.... This past February, I celebrated my 10 year Anniversary as a Close To My Heart Consultant!   I would never have guessed that 10 years later I would still be here today.  My life has been blessed by the many new friends that Close To My Heart brought to me..... customers and other consultants.  I definitely got WAY more than a discount when I joined and I would not trade that for anything!

If you want to talk to me more about joining my team and becoming a Close To My Heart Consultant contact me today!  I would love to share this wonderful opportunity with you!

Now it is time to visit Jen Rubio's blog and read her story!
