Close to My Heart Christmas Card Blog Hop

We've got a special blog hop for all the cardmakers out there!  Today we are featuring Christmas cards!  On this hop you will see cards created with our beautiful papers, stamps and more!  If you came from Jennifer Dykstra's blog you are on the right track!  This hop is big circle so when you get back to me you will know you completed the hop!  If you get lost along the way, you can get back on track HERE.

If you have followed me for very long, you know I love creating cards with Picture My Life Cards.  It's a great jump start for creating a card and you can create alot in a short amount of time!  In fact, my annual Christmas Card Workshop features the Picture My Life Beary Christmas cards!  Today, I'm sharing three cards I created using another set of Picture My Life cards - Silver & Gold.

I accented the cards with Red Glitter paper. This first card was very simple to create.  I cut down two of the cards and layered on a piece of gold heart B&T paper from the Silver & Gold Paper pack.  The White and Gold Ribbon was perfect for this card.

On the next two cards I used the Silver & Gold cardmaking stamp and thin cuts with gold embossing powder to add ornaments to the card.  I used the Ribbon Thin Cut with red glitter paper to accent.  The ribbon on the top of the ornaments is from the same thin cut.  I just cut it down to just the ribbon.

On this next card, I used the White and Gold twine to hang my ornaments.  I also used Gold Glitter Gems as accents on both cards.
