Creating with Everyday Moments Cricut Collection

Image
Have you seen our new Cricut Collection - Everyday Moments?  When Close To My Heart releases a new digital collection, it is EXCLUSIVE to Close To My Heart which means it can only be purchased through a Close To My Heart Consultant.  I love this new collection and have been creating alot with it.  This collection has four 12x12 scrapbooking layouts, seven 12x12 single page layouts, seven 8 1/2 x 11 single pages and three cards!  All you need to do is choose your papers, cut and assemble!  All designing has been done for you!

But you don't have to be limited to what you see in the collection!  I've created a few things already and have changed them up a little bit.  Today I decided to create a CARD using one of the scrapbooking images.  I chose this 8 1/2 x 11 page to create a card.

First I pulled in the image onto my design space.  BEFORE I ungrouped the images, I sized it down until the height was 5 1/2".  This way I knew that the stars would fit onto my card.

This month's stamp coordinate beautifully with our March Featured paper collection - Yesterday & Today.   After I created the Yesterday & Today layouts from the Scrapbooking Workshop kit, I then created an Extended Story to go along with my pages.  This set was just perfect for accenting those pages.  Here is one of the pages from my extended story that uses 4x3 photos.

I love the Extended Story added to an album.  This contains various sizes of memory protectors and incorporates alot of pictures into one story!  I'll be teaching a class on this soon.

It was so hard deciding which stamp I would feature today.  But, I finally had to go with one of my FIRST FAVORITES.   There is ALWAYS a 'first favorite' of mine in every catalog.  It is that stamp that catches my eye from the very beginning.   I've had this one a few weeks now and had been so busy, I didn't have time to sit down and play with …

Another opportunity to play with my tri-blend markers! I really love these markers! They make blending so easy! I used the green shaded watercolor paper from the Mix In Paper pack along with the grid paper from the same pack. Yes, I did fussy cut the flowers but it was not that bad to cut and it does give it a nice layered look too. Instead of coloring the ribbon that ties the flowers, I used the Silver Stickles. (any opportunity to add stickles is always fun!)

Here is everything I used for this card.  The * means this is a new product!

This is a fun stamp to use to send some positive thoughts to a friends or just a great sentiment for a layout!  Here is the card I created.

I used several of our new products on this card!  Can you pick them out?

First I stamped one of the sentiments on the Tangerine cardstock to give it a background.  I paired it with Julep print Mix in paper and added a die cut stitched frame to the top portion of the card cutting through the card front to show the inside of the card where I stamped the heart and added a gem.   I used two sizes of the stitched frame die cut.  And, not to…
