Legendary Father's Day/Let's Stay Home Blog Hop

For my project, I used BOTH stamps from the Legendary Father's Day Bundle.  These stamps can be purchased separately or in a Bundle(CC6207)!  (Save 20% when you purchase both!)

I used the large stamp as my main focus of the card.  I stamped it twice, cutting out the banner with "IS SOMEONE" and popped it up with foam tape.  Paper pieces from Aurora gives it just a little more color and texture on the Sage cardstock.  Next, I stamped the hat and shoes onto Vanilla cardstock and colored them with watercolor pencils blending them with a waterbrush.   I cut them out and added them to the card.  I sponged Espresso ink onto the wooden arrow and added for accent.  



I used the the Toffee Shimmer bursh over the letters of "A FATHER".  It shows up much better in person than on camera.

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick. This size worked well.   If inserting a regular card you can use 4 3/4" measurement.  "Merry Christmas" is also cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I set the measurement to 2".               To re
