2019 Summer Virtual Cardmaking Class!

Image
I'm SOOO excited to announce a NEW session of Virtual Cardmaking Classes for Summer 2019! What is a Virtual Class? And why would YOU want to take it? What do you get out of it? I started doing the Virtual Class for several reasons. Maybe one of these reasons applies you? The date and time of an actual workshop does not always work with everyone's schedule. Especially in the fall with school activities going on! I work full time - so can only do classes in the evening. For you.....Going to class while your kids are in school is easier or you don't like driving at night. I live in Murfreesboro, TN - you live several hours (or days) away! You like to be crafty at 2am .... I don't (I used to...my body just doesn't allow it anymore!) You've never created cards. If you are only a scrapbooker, creating cards can be intimidating! I KNOW! When I went to create my first card I was STUCK on where to start!! You are afraid to cut your paper. ...

Today we are featuring the Zoe Paper in this special Blog Hop.  Zoe was a popular paper introduced in 2015.  Close To My Heart has brought it back with updated colors.  If you came from Miss Carrie's Creations blog you are on the right track.  This hop is a big circle.  If you have just started, look for the link to next blog at the end of each post.  When you get back to me, you will know you have completed the hop!   I was so excited when CTMH announced that they were bringing back Zoe.  This paper was one of my ABSOLUTE favorites!  Now the paper pack comes with a 12x12 sticker sheet!  How exciting is that?!   Close To My Heart also created a new workshop guide with this paper.  But I wanted to create something a little different.  I couldn't wait to work with.   I created this layout after I had spent a long weekend working in my yard pulling weeds and prepping for new spring flow...

Image
Welcome to the April Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! This month we are featuring Love So Sweet . If you have come here from Michelle Loncar's Blog , you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you'll find the complete list of participating consultant's HERE. I wanted to use a some of my Celebration Mix In paper so first I chose the Sapphire pattern.  Then I turned to my How To Book to see what colors would look good with Sapphire.  Raspberry, Saffron and Fern were suggested so this was just perfect for my flowers and butterfly!    The grey/white plaid pattern piece is from the Feels Like Home paper pack.  To give my plain rectangle shape some interest, I used the scallop border thin cut on one side.  I used a round tag from the Fancy Tags thin cut set as my 'landing' point for the flowers stamping the greenery in Fern ink and also a small butte...
