December Stamp of the Month Blog Hop -- Owl Love You Forever

If you get lost along the way, you can find the entire list of hoppers  HERE .  I thought it would be fun to create a triangle heart pattern with the November December Mix In Papers.  I matched the colors of the papers with Tri-blend markers to color the Owl.   Some added touches - I colored the Clear Sparkles with the Hydranga Tri-Blend Marker and also random stamped the Wisteria Cardstock to add interest to the background.  The stitched circle is from the Circle Window Slimline Thin Cut set. November December New Catalog Blog Hop

As a little added touch to the layout above, I colored some of my White Dot embellishments with the True Blue Tri-Blend Marker to match the cardstock mats used on these pages. On this regular size card I used the window die and tag from our new Buildable Tag Thin cuts.  I wanted it to appear that these cute little critter were looking out at the snowy landscape.  I added a couple of the felt accents and used glue dots to attach a few scatter snowflakes from our Snowflake sequins.    I created a shaker card for my 2nd card using the Slimline Square Window Thin C

The leaves outside are beginning to fall and I can really tell that autumn is in the air.  It had me in the mood to create a Fall Card!  I had not used my new Circle Windows Slimline thin cut yet so thought this would be a great time to pull it out!   Fall makes me think of plaid and our September October Mix In pack is full of plaid!  If you love plaid, be sure to grab a couple of these packs!   I paired my plaid paper with a piece from our new Texture Paper Pack in the Core Catalog. If you get lost along the way, you can find the entire list of hoppers  HERE .  I have to admit, flowery critters are not really my thing, BUT once I started playing with this stamp, I discovered how cute they really are.   The card that I'm sharing here was a result of me playng with Distress Oxide Inks because I didn't want to color the flowers.  I wanted to try something different. So, I blended Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Abandoned Coral and Pickled Raspberry on white daisy cardstock.   I decided to use a blend of these col

  Welcome to this SPECIAL blog hop that features products from our Slimline Celebration!   This will be a quick hop featuring 9 blogs!  If you arrived here from  Wendy Kessler's blog you are on the right track!  To keep going, look for the link to the next blog at the bottom of my post!   If you get lost along the way you can see the entire list of participants   HERE .  I've seen many SLIMLINE cards and have created several myself but I also wanted to share that the Star and Circle Clusters Thin Cuts do NOT have to be limited to Slimline card use!  In this hop, I'm sharing a fun A4 standard size card using the Circle Cluster Thin Cuts and the Fishy Greetings Stamp Plus Thin Cuts set!  I used several of our Distressed Oxide inks for this card, first using the Tattered Rose Distress Oxide on as my base color for my Thank You Stencil.  I used Chipped Sapphire, Mermaid Lagoon, and Mowed Lawn on the Stencil.   The circle clusters were cut on the light side of Lagoon cardstock.

I created this card with some leftover scraps of Pumpkin Spice paper.  I strung the leaves from the Autumn Sequins onto gold embellishing thread to string across the card.  HINT:  to make stringing with the embellishing thread easier, I added some white Tombow glu

Christmas in July Blog Hop - White Pines

I created a winter holiday scene on a slimline card featuring the animals on our Miracles of Christmas stamp (CC72114).   I stamped each animal onto a piece of White Daisy Cardstock and used a variety of Tri-blend Markers to color.
