HERE IS MY WHY.......

This me teaching at the 2012 Close To My Heart Convention!
Whether you crave creativity, are looking to build warm relationships, or maybe just earn a little extra cash to fund your hobby, Close To My Heart is the place to be!   In 2006 I was looking for a way to pay for a new found hobby that I loved.    Direct sales was new to me and not something I really wanted to do.  But, I had friends that were scrapbookers and I thought I would be able to meet the sales minimum to get my discount.  Little did I know when I opened my new consultant kit that I was opening up a whole new world of creativity and friendships.

Close to My Heart is such an awesome company.   They are so supportive of their consultants and have provided everything we need to be successful from great products, to on-line training, on-line community of other consultants that share business tips and artwork!  In 2010 I won an exclusive Scrapbooking Spa Retreat in Utah where I spent time with 8 other lucky consultants and Kristine Witdtfeldt and Monica Wihongi of Close To My Heart. In 2015 I earned an amazing dream trip to Hawaii!  Since then, I've been to Thailand, Mexico, a Carribean Cruise and as of 2019 I earned another dream trip to Tahiti, and a trip to New York and Bermuda.  (Due to COVID in 2020 these last two trips have been postponed but CTMH RESCHEDULED and not cancelled!  They are making every effort to make sure we get to go!)

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick. This size worked well.   If inserting a regular card you can use 4 3/4" measurement.  "Merry Christmas" is also cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I set the measurement to 2".               To re
