One more card to show before I am banned to the bleachers at the softball fields for the next three nights! This is for the Play Date Cafe Challenge.   This one is a color challenge.  Here are the colors we were supposed to use:                                 BEAUTIFUL!  I love them!  SO I just had to create something with these colors.    The Close To My Heart colors that I felt were close to these colors are: Pacifica, Dutch Blue and Topiary.    I chose "Bless This Nest" stamp to use for my card.   It's a favorite of mine and I have made several other cards with this set but have not used this particular stamp from the set! When I saw the new 2011 Spring Summer Idea Book from Close To My Heart I knew that somehow I had to fit a card workshop into my busy schedule.  The new stamp Bless This Nest was perfect.  Plus we have two new Card Chatter stamps.  One for birthdays, and one for sympathy/thinking of you.   I couldn't wait to start designing my cards.    I had help with my designs - one design was from Mojo Monday and one was from the H2H Challenge that I have been participating in each week.    (They are alot of fun and really get your creative juices flowing).   The other card designs are from Wishes and Originals - two great How To books on cardmaking by Jeanette Lynton. One of the things I wanted to resolve to do in 2011 was to challenge my creativity.   To do this, I am going to participate in more blog challenges!  The Mojo Monday challenge was created by Julee Tilman in 2007 on her own blog.  It grew so much in popularity that now Mojo Monday has its own blog with a very talented design team!
