Clean and Simple - Birthday Card

Image
I have a lot of birthdays coming up this month, so I needed to step away from the Christmas theme I've got going.   For this birthday card, I used the sketch from the Clean and Simple challenge.     I used Kraft cardstock for my card base.  The paper is from the Clementine Paper pack.   This card was really quick because I used the Clementine Canvas Compliments for my 'spray' of flowers.  The "Happy Birthday" was stamped with Twilight ink onto Cashmere Cardstock.  I cut the banner with the Artiste Cricut Cartridge and applied it to a Dimensional Element of the same size.  The stamp and the dimensional element are both part of the Artiste Cricut Collection.  The Artiste Collection includes 3 stamp sets and 3 different sets of dimensional elements that coordinate with the stamps. A Piece of Cake for Clementine

HAPPY FRIDAY!!  I'm ready for the weekend and some crafty time!  How about you? I just love our new Artiste Cricut Collection!  I made this cute little pie shape box in just minutes.  I was surprised at how fast it came together.  I used Close to My Heart's new  Clementine   (X7156B) paper to make this 'yummy' slice of cake.  I think this would make a really cute Thank You gift for bridesmaids or just about any occasion. Then I just cut and folded!  To 'decorate' my slice of cake I used our new Colonial White Rosette Ribbon (Z1800).  It reminded me of the yummy icing border that is around the cake's edges. I tied a big wide band of our Dark Chocolate Striped Grosgrain Ribbon   (Z1617) around the top and bottom and attached a Thank You sentiment stamped from our new set - Casual Expressions (D1525)   I used the Artiste cartridge to cut out the base for the stamped image.
