Easter Treats in Pint Containers

Check out these adorable Easter Treat Containers! I couldn't resist using the Spring Critters stamp set along with the Penelope paper pack! I created some of these at Christmas where I didn't cover the entire container. If you missed that post, you can see it HERE . This time I wanted to wrap the label all the way around. Creating a 'label' cover for these containers was a bit tedious at first. Since the container has a tapered shape, the label needs to taper to fit it properly. After many tries of adjusting a cupcake wrapper in design space, I finally gave up and cut apart one of the containers and cut a template to scan into design space. This was my first attempt at scanning and uploading an image into Design Space. I have to say.... It was so easy!! Once I got my template created I was able to cut my labels with ease. I used my ShinHan Touch Twin Markers to color the chick and the rabbit and then cut them out with the coordinating Thin...

Give a Pint of Fun for Christmas!

One of my favorite snacks to make at Christmas time to give away as gifts is my North Pole Mix.  It's easy to make and it VERY addicting to eat!  This year I have the perfect container to fill and give away! I will be packaging up my famous North Pole Mix into these My Creations Pint-sized Containers (Z3137) from Close To My Heart!  These come in a package of 3 for just $5.95.  Add some paper, tags and ribbon and you are good to go! Here are two that I've dressed up so far.   My paper is older retired Christmas Papers from Close To My Heart (a great way to use up scraps!)  For my container on the left, I layered flowers together to create a poinsettia for the lid. My Santa Claus is cut from the new Artistry Cricut Cartridge!  Ho Ho Ho! For the container on the right I stamped the penguins from the Season Greetings stamp set.  Aren't they adorable!  I cut a bow from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge for the lid. A simple gift for ...
