Welcome to our Seasonal Expressions New Product Blog Hop!  Today our bloggers are sharing their artwork created with products from our newest Seasonal Expressions book that was released on January 1.  This is hop will be fun.  I can't wait to see what every has created.  If you came here from Melissa Robinson's blog , you are on the right track!  The  hop is a big circle so when you get back to me, you will know you have visited everyone's blog! Today I am showcasing the Cross-Stitch Love Stamp Plus Thin Cut.   I LOVE this stamp.  I couldn't wait to try this stamp out.  The shading you see in the cross stitch pattern is from stamping it just one time!  The set comes with three coordinating thin cuts - one for each flower. I wanted to try out a technique I saw using the thin cuts to showcase the stamp by stamping the image on the base of the card front and using the Thin Cut in a popped up layer.  So, how did I know wher...

I had so much fun creating this layout of my twin great-nieces with two new products in our Seasonal Expressions catalog - Springtime Compliments and the Twins Rule stamp.    The Springtime Compliments coordinate with the Whimsy Fundamental papers and include 2 sheets of stickers and white chip-board die-cuts - some with gold foil! I really like the gold foil die-cuts so using gold embossing for stamping was just a given!  I used my Shin-Han markers to color the images to match my papers.  Here are some close ups of the clusters I created with the stamps and die-cuts.   To finish the layouts I added a few of our new Gold Glitter Gems. These girls were so tiny then!! This one is my favorite clusters!  I love the sentiments on this stamp set.  I stamped this sentiment on one of the plain white die-cuts and then heat embossed it in gold.   Twins Rule - C1675 Stay tuned!  I've got another layout to share of these sweet ...

Only 2 days left to get the stamps from the Seasonal Expressions 1 catalog!  I saw something similar a few weeks ago using a frame stamp with an image in the center of the frame.   I wanted to recreate it but I could not find the original card I had seen.  Here is my take on that card - from what I can remember seeing! First I painted a wash of pink watercolor paint onto the watercolor paper.  Once it was dry, I stamped a frame image to fill in all the space on the card.   The frame is from the Live, Laugh, Love stamp (C1636).  Next I stamped butterflies from the Your Beautiful Self stamp (B1516).  Both of these stamps and the silver butterflies from Playful Puffies (Z3205)  will retire after April 30!   Live, Laugh Love (C1636) Your Beautiful Self (B1516) Don't miss out on the stamps you love from Seasonal Expressions 1!   Order today before they are gone for good!
