July Stamp of the Month - From the Notebook

It is tradition to bring a roomie gift for your roommates when attending convention.  I had created a mini book with this stamp for my upcoming July Technique Tuesday class and thought it was so cute that I should create one for my roomies.   Because convention was taking place at the most magical place on earth - Disney World, I used Close To My Heart's Magical paper and compliments! January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Beloved Bouquet

  Welcome to the January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! This month we are featuring Beloved Bouquet . This is a set of 14 stamps! I used Hollyhock and Pomegranate inks for my roses.  For three of the roses, I used second generation stamping with Pomegranate ink for the base of the flower and 1st generation for the outline.  For the lighter rose I used the same technique only this time with Hollyhock ink.  The small rose was stamped with Hollyhock ink for the base and I used Pomegranate ink to stamp the outline.  There are so many way to mix and match your inks with these stamps.  It was fun to play around with...

March Stamp of the Month - Floral Happiness

WOW!  This month just FLEW by!  Or maybe it's because February is short a couple of days.  Anyway, here we are with another brand new Stamp of the Month!  This month the Stamp of the Month Blog Hoppers are showcasing Floral Happiness.  The stamp is a great Base and Shape set that includes 16 stamps! If you have come here from Michelle John's blog you are on the right track! This hop is a big circle so if you are just starting, when you go all the way through and get back to me, you have completed the circle!   I've got 3 cards to share with you today.   The first card I created with a bit of Later Sk8r paper to show you that this paper doesn't have to be ALL BOY!! I used a sketch from Jeanette's How To Book- Originals (9036) . (Now Available in Soft Cover for $14.95!) For this card I used Slate Cardstock as my base.  I scuffed it up a bit with some sanding to blend with the 'rough' look of the  Later Sk8r paper (X7167B) ...

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I can't believe it is already 2013 and I'm going into my 3rd year participating in the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  It's been so much fun to participate and see what creative ideas other consultants have on the same stamp.   Well - 2013 is no different.  We've got some GREAT stamps in store for you this year that you are really going to enjoy.   We are starting the New Year off with Happy Valentine, a set of 7 stamps.
