So... I see that my last blog post was June 19.  WOW.... so much has happened since then.   My daughter got married on May 5th and the next day I told my husband, "I can't wait for my life to get back to normal".   Little did I know that it would be a while for that to happen!   My husband and I have always talked about moving once our girls were grown and on their own.  It was always a dream to find some land and move out away from the hustle and bustle.  We lived in our home in a nice little subdivision on a little less than an acre lot for 23 years.  While we did LOVE where we lived we still had that yearning for trees, woods and nature.   We looked occasionally but not ever with real hard effort.  Taking action was a little scary.  It would mean fixing up our own home, putting it on the market, putting up with showings - and we had a dog that we would have to schedule around! I come from a family history of longevity.  Yesterday, we celebrated my Grandma's 100th birthday!! (Her actual birthday is really tomorrow - Monday, June 19th).  My Great Grandma (Grandma's mother) lived to 105 so it was no surprise to us that my grandma would strive to do the same!  So of course, we had to throw her big a party!!   Family from all around came by to wish her a Happy Birthday. I wanted to do something special for my Grandma and give her something she would enjoy - looking at pictures from the past and reading everyone's birthday wishes!   I took an idea from fellow consultant Karen Pedersen.  Karen shared a guest registry she created for her son's wedding that was an album with layouts that the guests could sign. What a beautiful gift. Today our SOTM Blog Hoppers are sharing some artwork created with their favorite stamp sets from our Annual Inspirations catalog which will be retiring August 31st. But I finally decided on So Many Smiles .  I have used this stamp for cards and layouts!  For this layout I pulled out a few pages from the Enchantment Fundamentals and used the lined notebook page from Memo Fundamentals papers as my base page.  I cut a 5x7 frame from the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge and rather than using it as a frame for the picture, I just used it as part of the page elements.
