How fun it is to have an Ice Cream themed stamp for June!  I couldn't WAIT to create with this set.  This stamp set was calling out for ShinHan Touch Twin Markers to me.   I paired them with the fun Confetti paper for my card. National Scrapbooking Month is winding down and soon we will be entering the summer month of June.   Our Taste of Summer has been a huge success! If you have followed my blog during the month of May, I have shared everything that I created with the Taste of Summer paper pack and the Taste of Summer stamp set.   If you missed any of these posts, just search Taste of Summer or #CTMHTOS in my blog search box and it will bring up all of my posts using this paper pack! By the way..... everything you see in this collage was created with ONE Taste of Summer Paper pack!!  I added 2 sheets of Pear cardstock, 13 sheets of White Daisy Cardstock (8 were base pages for layouts, 2 sheets for my 4x4 cards and 2 sheets for stamped Accents).  For the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 cards, I used White Daisy Bulk Cards and Envelopes. Embellishments I used with this collection: Pink Glitter Gems - Z1807 Purple Glitter Gems  - Z1936 Sparkles Black & Grey Assortment - Z1754 White

I created these 8 4x4 cards for my mom for Mother's Day.   My mom loves to send little notes of Thanks, Thinking of You and more.  She always hand writes a little note of encouragement or expresses her appreciation for something.   I love it that she still does this rather taking to the internet to send an email or her phone to send a text.   (Something WE ALL do!).    I thought she would love to have a set of cards created with this cheerful Taste of Summer paper. I used the stamp set  Finding the Words  for these cards.   I also used silver sequins coloring some of them with my ShinHan Touch Twin markers .  I love how you can match to any color you need! Here is anpther Taste of Summer sampling!  Today's card features the strawberry and orange print from our exclusive Taste of Summer paper pack!   This is the 3rd card I created using the Heartstrings WOTG Cardmaking kit pattern.  I added started with the strawberry and orange print paper as my base instead of leaving it plain as directed in the Heartstrings pattern.  See the pattern I used below. Once again, I used the Finding the Words stamp set along with the strawberry images from the Taste of Summer stamp set.  I accented the card with White Shimmer Trim and Pink Glitter Gems. Here is my 4th layout I have created from my Taste of Summer Paper pack!  Yes, that is right.  I said FOUR!  This layout features mostly the orange and green papers from the kit with an accent of yellow. In addition to the Taste of Summer stamp, I also used the Documenting Moments stamp set.  I also used some White Shimmer Trim and Black Sparkles for accents.   Documenting Moments - D1647 Remember! Ready for another Taste of Summer sampling?   Today I'm sharing a layout.  This layout started out from a sketch from one of the Make It From the Heart sketches but totally evolved into a sketch all it's own.  I had cut the papers which consisted of 3 pennant pieces that ran vertical across the pages.  I   left it laying unattached for a few days - never adding the adhesive because there was something about it I just didn't like.  I couldn't put my finger on it.   As I was getting ready for my Album In A Day workshop, I scooped it all up and put it back in the bag to take along with me thinking I'd finish it during the workshop.  When I pulled it out to work on it, I decided to change it up and this is what I ended up with.  I like it much better than my original layout. To stamp my limes, I used 2nd generation stamping with Pear ink and then I rolled the edges in pear again to give it a darker tone around the rind.  My strawberries were stamped in Cotton Can

Here is today's Taste of Summer sampling! This card was very simple and it is one of THREE cards that I created using the Heartstrings Cardmaking WOTG instructions! I will be sharing the other two cards in the near future.  It is a good idea to keep your instruction brochures you get with the Workshop On the Go Kits!  You can use them over and over with other papers! In addition to the Taste of Summer stamp set (lemons) I also used Finding the Words (D1646) a great stamp with lots of sentiments.  I added Purple Glitter Gems (Z1936) for accent. Quick post today to share another card I created with the Taste of Summer Paper!  I created 4 layouts with this paper and have alot of scraps so I've been creating cards to!  This is my 4th card so far! I found the sketch for this card on Freshly Made Sketches.  I had the perfect stamp set to use so I created this one quickly to make the Freshly Made challenge deadline which is today! In addition to the Taste of Summer stamp (for the the lemons) I used the Tagged With Love stamp set.  This is a Hostess Only stamp that hostess can choose with their Rewards!  This stamp coordinates with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.   I used Thistle ink on the tag.  For the lemons, I first stamped in Canary Ink and then rolled the stamp in Honey.   I used Purple Glitter Gems, and Thistle Extra Thick Twine for embellishing.   Are you ready to get your own Taste of Summer?  Shop my website and order yours today! www.stampinheaven.ctmh.com Visit my blog on Wednesd

A few weeks ago I spent the weekend creating with my Spa Girls in Virginia.  The Spa Girls are my group of CTMH sisters that won the Spa Retreat back in 2010.  We had such a great time, we make sure to have a lunch reunion at Convention every year.  Last year we decided to get together for our own little retreat.  This year, we were able to get our Taste Of Summer papers just in time to take to our retreat!
