StampinHeaven Fall Retreat

I've been away from my blog longer than I planned but the last few weeks I have been very busy prepping for my Annual StampinHeaven Fall Retreat which took place this past weekend at Henry Horton State Park.



The big featured product at my retreat this fall was Close To My Heart's new Flower Market Cricut Collection.  As everyone arrived they received a name tag -


and a retreat layout kit that featured cuts from the new Flower Market cartridge -




















After the retreat, the attendees could add their name tag to the layout.   The flowers, leaves and acorns were all stamped with the background stamps that are included in the Flower Market Cricut Collection.  The paper is from Swan Lake.


Each attendee also received a stamped goodie bag containing a petite perk stamp, a mini pigment pad, some June Bug Stickees and special Close To My Heart Chap stick (because all that laughing and talking into the wee morning hours can make your lips chapped!)


During the retreat, the ladies had an option to attend a few classes to learn new techniques.

Saturday night we had many still going strong as it was getting late!


It was a wonderful weekend with a bunch of the best ladies I've every met!  Thank you all for making it a great time for all!

Now I'll be gearing up for the WINTER retreat which takes place in February!

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick. This size worked well.   If inserting a regular card you can use 4 3/4" measurement.  "Merry Christmas" is also cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I set the measurement to 2".               To re
