June Stamp of the Month - It's Your Day to Sparkle


Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! This month we are featuring It's Your Day to Sparkle. A set of 29 stamps. It is great for birthdays, anniversarys, and weddings! This hop is a big circle. Here is the card I created.   I used the lace doily pattern paper from True Love as the background for my card and added a piece of 'marble' look pattern from our Mix In Pack.  I stamped the cake on a piece of vellum with versa mark ink and then heat embossed it in silver.   I layered this onto white daisy to give it a more opaque background.  I colored the flowers with my ShinHan markers and added Clear Shimmer Brush to the cake to give it sparkle.

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick. This size worked well.   If inserting a regular card you can use 4 3/4" measurement.  "Merry Christmas" is also cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I set the measurement to 2".               To re
