Happiest Place Blog Hop

I recently created SIX two page layouts with this collection and still have paper leftover!  I used nearly all of the Acrylic Shapes except for this big castle and the word "magical".  I had these left because my pages were all non Disney themed!  You can find those layouts in another blog post.  So, what to do with the leftover castle?  Create a special birthday card for a special little girl!  Or maybe use this card to announce a Disney Trip to a little one that has been longing to go!



I used the Glacier cardstock with silver foil stars as my background and papers from the Happiest Place paper pack.  I stamped the fireworks with VersaMark ink and used our Silver Tinsel Embossing powder!  I love the glimmer it gives to the fireworks.    Then I stamped the balloons in 1st generation ink and then 2nd generation with Lemonade and Candy Apple to give them a two-toned affect.   I added Clear Shimmer Brush to the balloons because of course they need glitter too!

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick. This size worked well.   If inserting a regular card you can use 4 3/4" measurement.  "Merry Christmas" is also cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I set the measurement to 2".               To re
