I have to admit, I had to search Scandinavian Folk Art for some inspiration to get my creative juices flowing on this set.   Most everything I found had clean looks so I decided that I would stick to just one or two colors and use a lot of the stamp images.   Here is my collection of cards that I created.   We will take a closer look at each one.

I started my first card using Bluebird and Sundance inks.  I first stamped the envelope and then filled in the spaces around it and above with the other images.   I stamped the birds and hand trimmed, then added to the card with foam dots for dimension.

On this next card, I used only the Bluebird ink.   I'm not used to keeping my cards simple without a lot of layering some one, so I decided to turn the window image into a shaker.  First, I stamped the window directly on the card.  I stamped it again on a piece of white daisy cardstock and hand-trimmed it, cutting out the 'window panes'.   I uses a 2x2 flip flap to create the window for the shaker and added Silver Star confetti.

Of course, I had to create a Slimline card!!  I started with the house and stamped it in the center.  Then I stamped the rows of flowers on each side.   I used the heart and flower image to create another type of flower with the heart representing the leaves.   I added a dot of Carnation Red Pearls between the heart and flower.  I wrapped some Silver Embellishing Thread around it several times and tied it off.

These cards a simple but I think the effect is what I was going for and in line with most of the Scandinavian Folk Art that I looked at.

Here is a list of everything I used on these cards:
