June SOTM - Outdoor Borders Blog Hop

 

Welcome to our June Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. In this blog hop we are featuring Outdoor Borders. This set includes 9 Border images! This stamp set has NINE fun borders in 2 themes..... hiking/nature and summer fun!  We just recently hosted a large pool party and my daughter snapped this picture of my dog coming up out of the pool!  He just so happened to come up perfectly in a big float ring!  It was so cute I had to put it on a page.  

Thank you to the recent May Virtual Album Retreat that I attended, I was able to pull this page together quickly and easily because I got the idea for THIS page from one of the pages I created at the retreat!  The things I learn from these album retreats are timeless as well as priceless!!

I sanded strips of Bluebird, Carolina, Lagoon and Smoothie to add to my base page.  The polka dot piece that backs my photo and journaling is from the May June Mix In Paper pack.  I stamped the conversation bubble border into individual pieces to use for accents on my photo.  The "good vibes only" is from the Months of the Year - June stamp.  I stamped it onto Ballerina cardstock after sanding.

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick.
