Bridal Shower Banner

Image
Sometimes it can be quite advantageous to have a mom (Me) that is into papercrafting.   My daughter is throwing a Bridal Shower for her best friend and asked me to make her a banner.   I love it when I get a chance to do something different.   Banners are fun and this is the first time I've made one for a Bridal Shower! I used the Artistry cricut cartridge to cut the 'stone' that is behind each letter.  These were cut from the lighter gold glitter paper from the Gold Glitter Paper (Z3076).  I found a wedding ring image on the Artfully Sent Cartridge so used this image ...

Congratulations with Freshly Made Sketches

I just returned from vacation to a long list of "To Do's".  First up on the list was to create a card for my niece's baby shower that was today.   Since I was helping to give the shower, I had done alot of the things needed before I left for vacation and I left the last thing - the card for the gift for last.  So I got up early and created the card before I left for church this morning.  First, I'll share the card I created and then I'll share some of the other things I created for the shower too! I used the Chevron Embossing Folder with the Whisper cardstock for the background.   The striped piece is the Outdoor Denim from our new Paper Fundamental...

I should have shared this one a while back but time got away from me and I forgot about it until I came across my pictures I took.  It is traditional (and fun) to make little gifts for your convention roommates.  I was waiting until AFTER convention to post these because I didn't want my room mates to see their gifts before they got there - just in case they checked my blog.  :) This year I took our My Creations All-Sort Mini Album (now retired) and made a banner for each of my room mates using a page from the album.  The pages from the album measure approximately 6x6.  I got this idea from the spa retreat that I went on a few years ago and I thought this would be a great idea for a roomie gift. Since we were in the middle of our National Scrapbooking Month campaign so I used the paper from that special - "Dotty  For You" to make each banner.  Each banner also features one of the new cricut images from our Artiste Cricut Cartridge (Z1790) for their...
