Yesterday my youngest daughter turned 20!  The other night my husband noted that very soon we would no longer have a teenager in the house.  Boy, that felt weird..... after all these years.  Makes me feel just a wee bit old.   But, really I'm enjoying the age both my daughters have become.  Both beautiful young ladies that I really love spending time with. For my daughter's birthday card I chose to use the special Hostess Only Stamp "Better With a Friend" . This is so Kayli.  She loves dogs and actually I think she wanted one for her birthday but we already have a dog in the house that thinks he is human.   We sure don't need another one! Have you ever just dropped everything on your busy schedule, moved things around and made time for just hanging out with your friends?  I did that just last Friday.  Even though I had just come back from a week's vacation and had been trying to get caught up at work, when I received an email from one of my friends that said "come and hang out" - I did just that.   I have a close group of friends - some I work with, some work at the same place but I only see occasionally and then some friends I that I used to work with but they have moved on to other jobs.   Over the years, we have always stayed in touch.  We try to get together for lunch when we can (and not everyone can always make it) but we ALWAYS get together once a year for our annual cookie Swap.
