Today I'm sharing a card that I created using a page from the Bluebird My Crush Book.  There are so many beautiful pages in this book, it's hard to keep them in there!  (With 60 pages, you have plenty to rip a few out!) The Kraft paper with the brown outline flowers is the page I used.  I layered it onto a piece of Sweet Leaf cardstock using Kraft paper for my card base.  I used the coordinating Love This  (B1432) stamp set to stamp "Amazing" right on the card.   Next I stamped the flowers and butterfly with Chocolate ink onto one of piece from the matching My Crush Favorites Assortments (Z1889).  I tied it all together with a piece of Extra Thick Flaxen Twine  (Z3036) and added some Durables Artisan Studs (Z1816). A dear friend lost her pet the other day.   He had lived a long and happy life but no matter what the circumstances, it is still very hard when you loose a pet that has been a part of your family for years. Time will ease her pain but until then, she just needs a big hug.   I made this card for her using the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and my new ShinHan Touch Twin markers that I received in my new product bundles from Close To My Heart. The base of the card is one of the pieces from the Fundamentals Basic Assortment pack (Z1939). This fun cardstock is an assortment of 20 double-sided 12” x 12” paper sheets (2 each of 10 designs) featuring the same design on both sides, with one side featuring a glossy-resist version of the design The other 2 pieces of cardstock are from the Free To Be Me paper pack that was the special back in May. I had a pretty productive day beginning about 7:30 this morning.  Saturday is my day to sleep in since I get up at 5am during the week to get ready for work.  But this morning I woke up about 6:30 and couldn't get back to sleep so I finally gave up and got up.  I went into the kitchen to fix myself some breakfast but got side tracked by my 'tupperware cabinet'.  You know the cabinet.  It's the biggest cabinet in your kitchen that is full of every size and shape of plastic ware - containers, bowls and lids!  My cabinet had gotten to the shape where you quickly open the door - throw something in and close the door before something else falls out.   I opened the cabinet and sat down and begin taking everything out.  I was determined to keep only the items that had a lid, and get rid of anything that I no longer used.   I probably threw away about 40 lids!  I guess I had this fear that a container would show up looking for it's matching lid ...
