Fun with Magic Potions

October is JUST around the corner.  Create some fun potion bottles to add to your Halloween decorations this year!  I had fun with the Magic Potions   (C1509) Stamp Set when I was creating items for this year's Extravaganza.  I went to Hobby Lobby and found these cute apothecary bottles at 50% off!  Each of the stamped labels have a perfectly matching image on the new Artiste Cricut Cartridge .  The carrier sheet for the stamp tells which page the image is on in the Artiste booklet and also what size to cut so that the stamp will fit it perfectly!  I stamped each image ink with either Goldrush, Smokey Plum or Black ink and then stamped again with Versa Mark ink.  I embossed them with our Clear Detail embossing powder. Life is Good with MOONLIGHT

I've been sharing some artwork that I created for this year's Extravaganza at our Close To My Heart convention.  I've been so busy getting ready for my Open House tomorrow I've haven't had a lot of time to get them all posted.  But I'm going to take a few minutes today to share one of the layouts.   (Be sure to read at the end of my post about a special drawing this month!) Once again, I used the Moonlight paper paper.   It's a Halloween themed kit but I created this layout to show how you can use the paper for events other than Halloween.  This is my good friend Jana and her family. Aren't they a beautiful family!   I printed the pictures in black and white - they went so well with this paper! The new Slate Satin Polka Dot   Ribbon (Z1802) makes a nice pleated border.  I used Glue Dot to pleat the ribbon (because I hate pulling out the sewing machine!).  I also used the new Sparkles Black Flourishes (Z1745).  I love thes...
