Wow! Another month gone by and here we are looking forward to Thanksgiving! Where has all the time gone? With November's Capture the Date, you have the perfect set to make note of that special date you want to remember!
The 2nd set of monthly pages was a little easier because I used the large numbers. I put "1" and "15" on one side of the page and on the back, I stamped "16" and the last day of the month.
I used the <U> Card key to cut the pocket in Barn Red Cardstock. Zip strips from the Dakota paper and a Foundry Ribbon Slide (Z1460) with Black ribbon to accent the pocket. This pocket is 4 1/2 inches tall. I cut a card to fit inside the pocket. Now I just need to journal on the card and add it to a layout.
Remember! The this Stamp of the Month is available ONLY during the month of November! You can purchase it for just $5 when you purchase $50 in Close To My Heart products! BUT WAIT!!! In November when you purchase the Stamp of the Month for $5, you get any stamp (A, B, C, D, E & M) for 50% off!
We have over 60 consultants participating in the hop. Following the hop is easy, just click on

blog!

I used this set to make a mini date book! The Artiste Cricut Cartridge made it very easy to create the book and pages. The cover and pages are all created by using just one key - <Family/Live>.
I set the measurement to cut at 3 1/2 for the book and the pages. I used Dakota paper (X7157B) for my book and reinforced it with black cardstock. The book closes with our Hook and Loop Dots (Z1805). These are great little adhesive velcro type dots. Black hemp (Z282) ties it all together while the Durables Round Studs (Z1706) give the book flap a finished look. The layered flower on top is cut using the <y> Accent 2 key on the Artiste Cartridge with Pacifica and Black cardstock.
I tried out two different styles of pages you could use inside the book. The first set uses the smallest numbers from Capture the Date so that you can write in something for each date.
The 2nd set of monthly pages was a little easier because I used the large numbers. I put "1" and "15" on one side of the page and on the back, I stamped "16" and the last day of the month.
I reinforced the inside edge of each page by using zip strips or 1/2 inch strips from the Dakota B&T papers. The book has 12 pages but you could add at least 6 more pages for a total of 18. I tied my hemp loosely so that book would open up wide enough easily write on the pages.
Here is one more quick and fun project using Capture the Date. (You didn't think I'd have just ONE project did you??) For this project I made a journaling pocket. Again, I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.
