Originally, I had another card all ready to go for this blog hop.  But this stamp set kept coming to mind lately - alot.  I think maybe it is because a couple of my customer have ordered just this past week.  The other night I went to bed with this stamp on my mind and woke up in the morning with an idea of how I wanted to use it.  I couldn't wait to try out my idea.

Here is how I created this card. (Hint: To help reduce the amount of buckling when using watercolor paints I taped down my watercolor paper with washi tape.)  First I painted a blue background on a piece of watercolor paper.  I set this aside and worked on a piece that I was going to stamp my balloon on to. First I used a generous amount of water washing it across the paper to get it really wet.  Then, I added color making sure to have lots of water so that I could push it around the paper.  I started with yellow paint and went to orange and green next.  Then added a wash of pink into the yellow and top of the orange.

Once this dried, I stamped my hot air balloon on top of the Blue watercolor piece and again on the multi-color piece.  I cut our the balloon on the multi-color watercolor paper and using Thin 3D Foam tape, I attached it on top of the stamped image on the blue background.
