Smitten Blog Hop

 

Welcome to our Smitten Blog Hop! The colors in this collection just pulled me in!  They are so bright and fun.   I spent a Sunday afternoon just creating with it!  Here are a few of the things I created:


This layout was inspired by one of the layouts in the Craft With Heart Subscription!  I cut the cardstock squares 3x3 and the pattern papers are 2 1/2 x 2 1/2.  To fill in some of the 'white pace' I stamped the splatter image from Perfectly Imperfect Patterns (one of my FAVS!) and Capri Ink.
I colored some sparkels with Blue Turquiose and Bright Pink Tri-Blend Markers for added embellishment.

Next, I created several cards with the Smitten stamp and Thin Cuts....  I believe that little koala is my favorite.

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick. This size worked well.   If inserting a regular card you can use 4 3/4" measurement.  "Merry Christmas" is also cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I set the measurement to 2".               To re
