This week at Heart 2 Heart the challenge is titled The Spice of Life.   I decided to create a card that reminded me of spicy colors.  I used Cocoa, Ruby, Honey and Autumn Terracotta for my colors on this card.  I used two different embossing folders - Chevron and Stripes and had the stripes going in different directions to make it interesting. Yesterday I created this card for my daughter's birthday.  She turned 24!  WOW..... hard to believe.  I came across the colors over at the Paper Players challenge and knew immediately that I wanted to use them for her card.  I combined the colors with the sketch over at the Sweetest Thing . The colors in the Paper Players challenge were Midnight Muse, Crisp Cantaloupe and Gold.  I used Close To My Heart's colors of Outdoor Denim, Sorbet and for my gold I used our Gold Polka Dot Washi Tape .  I adhered the washi tape to a piece of white cardstock and then cut it to the size I needed.   The polka dots were easy to line up so I was able to make the cardstock as wide as I needed.
