A few weeks ago I shared an Artbooking layout I created using the new Lollydoodle paper and some of the coordinating stickease. If you missed it, you can see that layout HERE .  I had several pieces of stickease left so I created another layout using paper I had left from the Lollydoodle Workshop On The Go kit.  I wanted to share that layout today.  This is one of the Layouts that my Hostess Clubs will create. This layout sketch is adapted from the Make It From You Heart Vol. 2 -  Sketch # 2.  I used the FIT TO PAGE key to cut the large flower using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.     I fell in love with these Lollydoodle owls!  I used nearly all the stickease I had left and added lots of Pink Flamingo Dot accents around the page.  One of my very favorite CTMH go to items is our Foam Tape (Z1151).  I used alot of it to pop up the various pieces of stickease.   It really adds dimension and looks great when y...

Edited to Add the first card to the Moxie Fab's Stickers and Tape Challenge! With each new Close To My Heart paper pack there is always a coordinating Stickease or Compliments.  These help to create very fast and easy layouts with no stamping that are just as beautiful as the Level 3 layouts (layouts that include stamping). Huntington Stickease X7174C I love our stickease and compliments and many times I will use them for things other than layouts! They are great for creating beautiful cards in snap! Here is another sneak peek at the new Sarita (X7171B) paper pack!  I loved this paper the minute I laid eyes on it in the new Autumn Winter Idea Book.   I can't wait to create more with it!  The design of this card is from Pattern #23 in the NEW Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 Book (9042) .  This is another great pattern book by Jeanette Lynton.  A must have for every scrapbooker/cardmaker! I used SEVERAL new products on this card! I especially love the Sarita Assortments (Z1873) .  The assortment contains 10 etched wooden shapes and 4 metal icons - all adhesive backed.  I used one of the metal icons up in the right hand corner on top of my Lagoon Houndstooth Washi Tape (Z1850 ) which is also new!  Check out the Jute Ribbon (Z1867) .  Just when I thought I couldn't get enough Burlap, now I've got Jute ribbon to play with!  And finally, my last new product is the stamp!  This cute little stamp is called Holiday Tags (D1560)....

Today I wanted to share with you the 2nd layout I created for my application to teach at this year's Close To My Heart convention.   Due to a new format, they cut the field of teachers back from 32 to just 18.  I was not selected this year but I will try again next year! My oldest daughter traveled to Louisville, KY with a couple of friends back in February to run in a race on her 23rd birthday.  My sister lives in Louisville and she has a daughter Kirsti's age so all got together the evening after the race and celebrated her birthday.  My sister even made her a cake.  It was a special day so I wanted to be sure to capture the memory for her. For this layout, I used our Claire paper pack, chevron ribbon, burlap ribbon, wooden mini medley accents and lots of wooden trinkets shapes!   I had not used the wooden trinket shapes yet so I had a lot of fun using them on this layout.  This layout is Sketch #1 from the Make It From Your Heart Book. ...

I was so excited this morning to learn about a new challenge blog - Seize the Birthday . The challenge is all about birthday cards!  Now that I'm finished making Christmas cards for a while, I really need to get on top of my birthday cards and this challenge will help!
