Oh Happy Day - Free To Be Me

National Scrapbooking Month is still going on and today I have a card to share with you that I created with Close To My Heart's special NSM paper pack - Free To Be Me.  This card is adapted from Sketch #19 in Make It From Your Heart Vol 1.



I cut out the gold polka dot vellum paper to use at the top of each Red Shimmer Trim (Z1848).  I thought this made them look like candles.  The banner is cut from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge and I used the stamp that is included with the collection to stamp the sentiment.   I love the resist cardstock that is included in this pack!

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick. This size worked well.   If inserting a regular card you can use 4 3/4" measurement.  "Merry Christmas" is also cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I set the measurement to 2".               To re
