Happy Day with Feathers

I see feathers everywhere these days in crafting projects.  Even Close To My Heart's exclusive National Scrapbooking Month special paper pack has feathers on some of the papers! I created this card with Free to Be Me paper pack and the Feathers (C1584) stamp set from Close To My Heart.  


This card was very simple to create! I stamped the feathers in Juniper, Lagoon and Sweet Leaf Inks. The Aqua Dots (Z1853) were a perfect match!  The "Happy Day" sentiment is from one of the Free To Be Me paper zip strips!

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick. This size worked well.   If inserting a regular card you can use 4 3/4" measurement.  "Merry Christmas" is also cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I set the measurement to 2".               To re
