Operation Smile - A New Way to Give

Operation Smile is an organization that provides free, life-changing surgery that repairs smiles and reshapes lives, one child at a time. Since 2008, Close To My Heart has provided support to change the lives of over 1,500 children and their families.  At this year's Convention, over $40,000 was raised through our Operation Smile 5K Fun Run and the annual Operation Smile Auction.

How can our customers help?  With each stamp purchase our customer make, a portion of that stamp price is donated to Operation Smile.  Also, beginning last year, each quarter Close to My Heart introduced a special exclusive stamp set that would be available during that quarter only.  $3 of the price of that stamp was donated to Operation Smile.  In September, when our new Operation Smile exclusive stamp set is released, Close To My Heart will generously donate $7 of each exclusive stamp that is sold!

Also available, Consultants AND Customers can show their support by purchasing one of the Operation Smile T-Shirts sold exclusively through Close to My Heart!  These 100% Cotton T's are $25.  $10 of this will be donated to Operation Smile.   The shirts are available to order now!

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick. This size worked well.   If inserting a regular card you can use 4 3/4" measurement.  "Merry Christmas" is also cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I set the measurement to 2".               To re
