A Birthday with Dreamin'

After creating a few fall cards I suddenly remembered that I needed to make a Birthday card for a co-worker.   Stepping away from the usual bright Birthday colors I went for something a little more in line with the colors and patterns that make me think of September. Close to My Heart's Dreamin' paper is perfect for this.  


The card pattern is from Originals - First Impression.  The stamp is Harvest Happiness (C1463) stamped in Pacifica ink.  I used the Just Blooms Flutter Paper Shapes (Z1463) adorned with Mocha Opaques Adhesive Gems (Z1333).   Dreamin' Level 2 Paper (X7142B)

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick. This size worked well.   If inserting a regular card you can use 4 3/4" measurement.  "Merry Christmas" is also cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I set the measurement to 2".               To re
