Wednesday marks the first day of school. I'm ready! I've been very busy the last couple of weeks getting ready for my Open House celebrating Close To My Heart's new Autumn Winter Idea Book! I came across
Crazy 4 Challenges blog this week which was perfect for one of the items I made featuring the new
Scholastic (X7159B) paper pack. The challenge - make a card/project for a teacher. Another challenge blog -
The Paper Players has the same challenge so I'm linking my project to that challenge also! I made this cute little 'back to school' box that would be perfect for your teacher's favorite treats to welcome her back to school! I'm sure she's just as excited as our kids to be back.
Here is my Back to School Munchie Box!
I used Close To My Heart's new EXCLUSIVE Artiste Cricut Cartridge (Z1790) to cut my box. I used our new Cashmere color cardstock for the box. I set the measurement dial to 4". No gluing was required for the box (although if you fill it with something heavy you might want to glue it for security) The bus, apple, crayons and "Back to School" are all from our new stamp set - School is Here (B1407). Two more new colors are used here.... The bus is stamped in Saddle and the apple and crayon are stamped in Ruby. These are fast becoming favorites for me! The bus and apple are sitting on one of the new frame stamps that also coordinates with the Artiste Cricut Cartridge. This stamp is Frame it Up (D1524). It even tells on the stamp carrier sheet what size to set your cricut to so that the stamp fits perfectly!
