Thinking of You

Well after a nice long break from work for the Holidays, its back to work I go.  Working in Finance means there is no 'easing' back into the grind but jumping in with both feet and then swimming like the sharks are following you in attack.  I did get to do some creating while I was off - some for fun, some for classes and some because I needed to.   The card I'm sharing today is one I created for a friend.   I hope it brought her just a little bit of love and heartfelt sympathy.   The stamp set that I used - Happy To Be Friends is becoming a favorite.

    Your card is GORGEOUS, Gina. I never think to use that shape for stamping...will have to relook at it. I will be lifting your design for sure!

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick. This size worked well.   If inserting a regular card you can use 4 3/4" measurement.  "Merry Christmas" is also cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I set the measurement to 2".               To re
