National Papercrafting Month Blog Hop - Year Noted

The paper and stamp set were designed to help you reflect on the things you want to accomplish in 2015.  The two sheets of B&T Duos that is included in this kit can be cut to make pocket cards to fit the My Creations Mini Album.   This gave me an opportunity to use my new Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge and it's pocket page feature.  


For the front of my mini album, I cut a pocket card in the White Daisy Cardstock and backed it with one of the 4x6 pieces cut from the B&T Duos sheet.  I did most of the stamping in Desert Sand ink.  I think this color resembles gold.  I also found that the Flaxen Extra Thick Twine (Z3036), Junebug Puffies (Z3038) and the Gold Marker from the Metallics Marker set (Z1768) are great compliments to this paper pack.

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick. This size worked well.   If inserting a regular card you can use 4 3/4" measurement.  "Merry Christmas" is also cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  I set the measurement to 2".               To re
