Tonight was my 1st ever BINGO Event and I think we all had a great time!   I wanted to do something different this year instead of holding an annual Open House to showcase the new Annual Inspirations (which goes live to customers on September 1). If you missed it, I'll share some pictures of what we did!  We played 5 Bingo Games.  Each game winner won a fabulous Close To My Heart product.  The final winner in our Cover All game won the best prize of the night - a Rolling Tote and a Gift Certificate for Close To My Heart products! Each attendee got a Goody Bag filled with brand new product that we were going to be using on our projects. These Goody Bags are My Creations Designer Bags.  The "Scrap Happy" and Scissors images are both cut from the new Artistry Cartridge.  The colors used here are each of the new colors in the Enchantment Color Pallet. Operation Smile is an organization that provides free, life-changing surgery that repairs smiles and reshapes lives, one child at a time. Since 2008, Close To My Heart has provided support to change the lives of over 1,500 children and their families.  At this year's Convention, over $40,000 was raised through our Operation Smile 5K Fun Run and the annual Operation Smile Auction. A week!!!  It's been an entire week since I've posted anything!  It's not because I haven't been creating.  I have!  I have been creating alot.... but I just can't share anything just yet.  I'm nearly ready for my big BINGO EVENT coming up at the end of August.  I'm just waiting for one more shipment to get here and then I can start putting the goody bags together  I can't wait to share all the projects that we will be doing that night.  I don't want to spoil the surprise for all my attendees so if you are not coming to the event, you will have to wait until August 29th to see what you missed! I know that everyone is eagerly awaiting the release of the new Annual Inspirations from Close To Heart but we still have a month to go.  I'm keeping as much as I can under wraps until my big reveal at my Bingo Night on August 28th.   But Close to My Heart HAS generously released a few things a month early!   On Saturday, the brand new much anticipated Artistry Cricut Collection became available to order along with one of the new paper suites - Zoe!  I love this bright, cheerful paper! Today I'm sharing a card I created using the new Artistry cricut cartridge combined with the new Zoe paper! One of the fun things about this new cartridge is the many layered banners (over 200 different styles!).  Here, I cut "Hello" in Smoothie and layered it on White Daisy shape.  Aren't those flowers cute??  I cut those in Glacier and Canary cardstock and used some Zoe polka dot paper for the leaves. This set actually coordinates with our newest Cricut Collection - Artistry.  When I first saw this stamp I thought SUNBURST CARD!  I love it when an idea comes together so quickly!   I used Whimsy Paper Fundamentals Cardstock for this card. I alternated using the front and back sides.  Since the Glacier Extra Thick Twine really IS extra thick, instead of wrapping it around the card, I used our mini stapler to attach it to the card!  I love using the stapler this way!
