Wild About Love - February Stamp of the Month
Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! This month we are featuring Wild About Love, a set of 9 stamps. If you have come here from Katy Taylor's blog you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you'll find the complete list of participating consultant's HERE.
We have over 40 consultants participating in the blog. Following the hop is easy- just click on the link at the bottom of each post and it will take you to the next blog!
Everyone was talking about this stamp when they first saw it. I'm a little behind the times I guess.... or maybe it is because I don't listen to pop radio so much - I had not hear of the "What does the fox say" song. But it is all the rage right now with the kids because of it's catchy tune. (another reason I wasn't aware - I no longer have little kids!) No matter what - whether you've heard the song or not, this was such a fun little stamp to play with! Check out what I created!

The stamp has a Valentine theme to it but I wanted to get away from the usual red, pink and white Valentine colors. So I chose Desert Sand, Sunset and Juniper. Following are pictures of each individual card with a little more detail.
This card is 5x7. I also used a few new products here! First, the most noticeable new product would be the Desert Sand cardstock from the Paper Fundamentals Basics Assortment (Z1939). This fun pack of 20 double-sided 12x12 sheets (2 each of 10 design) has the same design on both sides of the cardstock - one side with a glossy resist pattern! I'm going to love adding pieces of this pack to many of my projects! You can see the glossy resist hearts on my card. Then I flipped it over and used the Desert Sand and White Hearts! The Juniper dotted pattern piece is from the Lollydoodle paper pack (Z7183B). One more new product - my Baker's Twine bow. It's from the new Neutral Metallic Assortment (Z1921).
My next card is a regular 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. I used the same papers and colors for this card also. I used our Scallop Punch (Z1851) to create a scalloped edge. Can you guess where the little 'ribbon' of hearts came from? It's from the Desert Sand Paper Fundamentals piece! I trimmed it just small enough to capture a row of hearts. On this card you can get a better glimpse of the Metallic Baker's Twine! Just when we thought we had all the twine we needed - they go and add Metallic to it! GOT TO HAVE IT!! The large heart on this card coordinates with the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge so I was able to cut that out and stamp it with ease! The "WILD THING" stamp also coordinates with the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.
I hope you enjoyed my FOXY cards and that they inspire you to grab this set during February for the low price of $5 when you purchase $50 in Close To My Heart products! You can get yours on my website at www.stampinheaven.ctmh.com
Ok! Now it is time to move on and see what 'foxy' creation that Haley Dyer's has created for us! I can't wait!! This is going to be fun!
Your cards are adorable, and now I have to have some of that new card stock! It looks fabulous.
