H2H - Bunny Hop!
Are you ready to see some Easter and spring cards? Today, H2H is hosting a Bunny Hop! We were asked to create anything Easter theme or 'springy'. For the first time in a week I finally had a chance to sit down at my scrap table and do some creating. Only problem....my creativity level was running on empty. I searched around for something really cool to create - maybe a 3D item. But it just wasn't meant to be! I couldn't pull it out of me.
I reached for my #1 paper pack - Mayberry. This paper just says "EASTER" to me. Maybe it is because the colors remind me of the Easter eggs we used to dye as kids. I decided to make a "Spring" card using a card from CTMH's xlear card set. The challenge in creating with the clear cards is you have to think 2 dimensional as you create. So as you are creating the front, you have to think about the other side and how you will hide the adhesive of the pieces you've attached to the front. Also - do you want something on the inside to show through to the front? These cards can be alot of fun to work with.
Here is my Card:
Laying Flat |
Inside - Back of front cover hides the adhesive of the front side. The front cover hides the sentiment piece on the inside. |
View from the top - Looking down on the card |

ReplyDeleteTOOO Adorable Gina! I have been quite hesitant in using the clear cards because I'm clueless still about the dual side and liquid glass for adhesive. I'm a messy scrapper to say the least. I also adore your flower on the front. Too CUTE!
