Can you believe we have a new catalog already?! Time flies but the products just keep getting better and better! Today we have a special blog hop for you featuring some of the new products found in our January February catalog. I can't wait to see what everyone has been working on! If you came from Darlys Rucker's Blog you are on the right track. The hop is a big circle so when you arrive at the blog you started, you will know you completed the hop! If you get lost along the way, you can find the entire list of hoppers HERE.
I created 2 cards with the Happiness Lives Here Cardmaking Stamp and Thin Cuts (Z3911). This set includes thin cuts for the sentiments and star. (This stamp is also available as stamp set without thin cuts (D1884)).
There are 5 different border stamps in this set. It was fun to use them on these cards. On this first card, I used the colors Toffee, Peach, Smoothie, Paprika. I offset the stamped "Thank You" on top of Smoothie cardstock. Instead of stamping on the star, I decided to use platinum stickles. I also added a dot of stickles on each of the flowers on the flower border. Stickles are a great way to add accents without adding a lot of bulkiness to cards.
For my 2nd card, I used one of the border stamps to create a background alternating Blue Belle and Sage inks. I used both colors on the sentiment, inking the top half of the HELLO in Sage and bottom half in Blue Belle. I created a background with tone on tone color with the star on the Sage Cardstock. Check out the new Pennant Thin Cut I used! There are 2 styles in this set.
