Pocket Card Perfection Blog Hop

Today we have a fun blog hop to share with you using the Picture My Life Cards in our Pocket Card Perfection special!!  The pocket cards featured in this special coordinate perfectly with the Lovely and Party Time paper collections from the 2020–2021 Core Products Catalog.   These will be available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST through March 31!  As you go through this hop, you will see different ways that we have used these cards.  If you came here from Krista Hershberger's blog, you are on the right track!  Look for the link to the next blog at the bottom of the post that will take you to the next blog.   If you are just starting, when you get back to my blog, you will have completed the hop!!  If you get lost along the way, you can find the entire list of hoppers HERE.

For this hop, I decided to create cards using the Party Time Picture My Life cards because we ALWAYS need Birthday Cards, right??   I created 12 cards with this set.  Four of the cards are Slimline and 8 are regular size cards.  Here is the entire set of Party Time Cards that I created.

I had fun creating these cards!  There is NO stamping either!  I was able to use either sentiments from the PML cards or I used the Happy Birthday Acrylic Sentiments.   The Lemonade and Flamingo Shimmer Trim makes a perfect trim for several of the cards along with our In This Together Dots!  The colors of the dots were just right!

Several of the cards were created exactly the same except one is in the blue/green colors while the other is the pink/orange colors.  Let's take a closer view at a couple of my favorites.

The cupcake that I fussy cut was on the lined paper looking card.   After cutting out the cupcake, there was enough of the card left to use it as a base for the cupcake and sentiment!

I really liked the balloons on the 4x6 PML card and felt they would be perfect for a slimline card.  I filled in the extra space by using Lagoon and Nectarine cardstock accented by the Casading Dots Embossing Folder.  The giftss and the sentiments are from the same 3x4 PML card.  I hand trimmed the gifts and then created a sentiment banner.   I love the shimmer trim with these cards.

Here is everything I used to create these cards:

  1. Wow, I am in love with these cards too. I especially love how you created some slimline cards and I love the cupcake cards and how you used the lined paper to ground the sentiment and cupcake.

  2. Great cards! Loved that you made slimline cards.

  3. I love that you have created the same cards but with different colour schemes- so fun!

  4. Wonderful collection of cards! Love the slimlines!
