Life is Good with MOONLIGHT

I've been sharing some artwork that I created for this year's Extravaganza at our Close To My Heart convention.  I've been so busy getting ready for my Open House tomorrow I've haven't had a lot of time to get them all posted.  But I'm going to take a few minutes today to share one of the layouts.   (Be sure to read at the end of my post about a special drawing this month!)

Once again, I used the Moonlight paper paper.   It's a Halloween themed kit but I created this layout to show how you can use the paper for events other than Halloween.  This is my good friend Jana and her family. Aren't they a beautiful family!   I printed the pictures in black and white - they went so well with this paper!

The new Slate Satin Polka Dot Ribbon (Z1802) makes a nice pleated border.  I used Glue Dot to pleat the ribbon (because I hate pulling out the sewing machine!).  I also used the new Sparkles Black Flourishes (Z1745).  I love these!  I used the new Artiste cricut cartridge (Z1790) to cut the shapes for my stamped images. It's a perfect fit!  To finish off the layout, I inked a few butterflies from our Flutter Paper Shapes (Z1463) with Smokey Plum ink and added some black sparkles from the new Black and Grey Assortment (Z1327)

This is the stamp set that I used.  I used the edge from "elixir" and also "toad"

I use the masking technique to stamp just the decorative edges of the Magic Potion (C1509) stamps.  Then I used phrases from Remarkable Wreath (C1473) "Life is Good" and Love Life (D1482) "Love".

Close Up:

OK!  I've got to get back to my Open House preparations!  But WAIT!  There's more!  I'm going to have a special drawing this month for the wonderful Moonlight paper pack AND coordinating compliments!   If you place an order anytime during the month of AUGUST I will add your name to the drawing.  On September 1 I'll draw for the winner.
Shop from my website at www.stampinheaven.ctmh.com
Be sure to check out the special that starts August 15th!

  1. One of my favorite layouts! I love how you repurposed the Halloween goodies. (Even though Halloween doesn't really need repurposing. LOL)
