Finally!  I'm back with a new Girl's Night Out Event!  This event features Close To My Hearts Design Decor Flip Stand and the Love Your Selfie Picture My Life Cards! This project would be a perfect gift for a graduating senior!  Fill it will their favorite photographs. My youngest daughter will be graduating college in May so I added some special photos of her and her best friends and her fiance'.  I still need to add a couple more pictures to complete it.  Below is a picture of 5 additional pages we will create.  Not shown are some added 4x6 journaling cards from the Love Your Selfie PML cards.  I punched holes into the card and added them to the rings.  She will be able write some of her favorite memories and most special moments on the added cards.   The last page of the album is slipped inside the acrylic back (see picture below).   You can see that the pages of the flip stand album are shorter so that "happiness is ...

I'm back with a follow up post about the Making Connections Event I attended last week in Memphis.  I am so excited to share this next project we created. We created a cover page and a scrapbook page with the new White Pines Picture My Life Kit and the White Pines Paper pack.  By adding Poppy Thick Twine, White Pines Compliments and Red Enamel Gems, you can really make your Picture My Life pages pop. Here is the cover page.  We took a 4x6 PML card and colored the leaves, flowers and berries with our ShinHan Touch Twin Markers and then wrapped it in Poppy Twine.  We also used papers from the White Pines Paper pack to create this page and accented it with the coordinating compliments and gems.   This page is just beautiful.  Imagine opening your Christmas Album to this page! This fall the Corporate Staff has been traveling around the country visiting various cities holding Making Connections events.  These events give Close To My Heart Consultants a chance to meet other consultants, hear a motivational presentation and spend time creating projects that we can bring back and share as workshops with our customers.   We created 2 fun projects that I will be sharing in the next few days.   Brian Holman led the motivational portion of the event.  Brian is the COO of Close To My Heart.  He is the guy in the back with the pink shirt on - not the guy in the front in the gold suit!  It was Memphis!  Of course Elvis was there too! This month during National Stamping Month , Close To My Heart has a special stamp for the Picture My Life scrapping enthusiasts. I had so much fun playing with this one.  I created a set of cards using one of my favorite color combos of the new Enchantment Color Palette - Poppy, Fern and Saffron! Tonight was my 1st ever BINGO Event and I think we all had a great time!   I wanted to do something different this year instead of holding an annual Open House to showcase the new Annual Inspirations (which goes live to customers on September 1). If you missed it, I'll share some pictures of what we did!  We played 5 Bingo Games.  Each game winner won a fabulous Close To My Heart product.  The final winner in our Cover All game won the best prize of the night - a Rolling Tote and a Gift Certificate for Close To My Heart products! Each attendee got a Goody Bag filled with brand new product that we were going to be using on our projects. These Goody Bags are My Creations Designer Bags.  The "Scrap Happy" and Scissors images are both cut from the new Artistry Cartridge.  The colors used here are each of the new colors in the Enchantment Color Pallet. Today I want share a wedding gift that I created for my nephew and his wife.   I wanted to create something very special for them so what better way to give them a remembrance of their big day than something they can display! I just love it when I get a chance to create with Close To My Heart's Display Trays and when using our Picture My Life Cards, it just doesn't get any better!   I chose to use the For Always Picture My Life Cards for the tray. I chose to print the pictures in black and white and only use accents of color which were the same colors they had in their wedding.   I was able to keep my nephew's tie the true color by using picmonkey.com.   It's a free and easy to use photo editing site.  The hardest thing about putting together this tray was choosing WHICH cards to use!  They are all great!  I had so much fun cutting apart cards and putting them with other cards.   Here are few close up shots and what I did: For...

This is my last week as a Guest Designer with Heart 2 Heart .   It's been fun and I hope you have had fun playing along with their challenges!  This week's challenge is to create a project with Close to My Heart's Picture My Life.   I created a Vacation Mini Album using the Surf's Up Picture My Life Kit and the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.   This is the project we will be doing this week at my Monthly Girl's Night Out Event. Creating the album was really easy using the PML cards!  I just chose several 4x6 cards and added 3 additional pages I created from the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.   I also used the 3x4 cards to accent several of the pages.  The pages shown below along with the album cover were created using the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge. I'm headed to Virginia for a little mini re-union with my CTMH sisters that won the Spa Retreat back in 2008.  I'm so excited and can't wait for the time we'll share together.   I have a lot of creative projects that I want to get done while I'm there so I should have LOTS to share when I return. While I'm gone, I wanted to share this video that shows how to incorporate the Artbooking cartridge with the Picture My Life series.  I absolutely LOVE our new Picture My Life sets and adding artbooking images really add a great touch to these already wonderful cards to make a really beautiful memory book.   Check out this video for more info on using TWO great products together.
