Big Hug
Wow.... here it is Tuesday night and I haven't posted since last Friday! Alot has been happening and I haven't had much time in my scrap room. I might have mentioned in a post earlier in the year that I was making some changes in the way we eat. I've been shopping differently, cooking differently and really paying attention to what is actually IN the things I'm buying. I haven't purchased a loaf of bread since December!! I can't tell you the last time I opened a tub of butter - nothing to put the butter on! It's been a good change so far and I'm finding so many things that I didn't realize I liked!
On Valentine's Day my husband and I went to Academy Sports and outfitted ourselves with new workout clothes and we joined a local gym the next day. I'm loving it! On the days that I can't go with Jeff, I can go with my girls. (I've learned I can't keep up with them though and I need to go my own pace!).
So, while I'm beginning to love this new lifestyle change, I'm trying to figure out how to fit in my creativity! I finally managed to find some time tonight to finish a card I started on Sunday. Even though I knew exactly what I wanted to do, my mojo just wasn't there. I left it for later and yesterday I started thinking about it and decided I needed to change the stamp that I was using. So, today I was anxious to get home and finish it!
Here is my card. The sketch is adapted from the Sweet Sunday Sketch.
I used one of Close To My Heart's new embossing folders - Quatrefoil. I found a similar shape on the Artiste Cartridge to use for my sentiment. The colors I used for this card are Buttercup and Black inspired by Dynamics Duos Challenge. I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Pile It On Challenge #7 - Sentiment as the Focus

Great card. I have been eyeing that stamp but wondering just how many sentiment stamps like that I need. Haha, every cardmaker needs 'em all, right? Thanks for sharing your lovely card.
