Look To The Light - A set of Ivy Lane Notecards

I wanted to share my March Girl's Night Out Event that I had available for sign-up at my Open House earlier this month.  The event was so popular that it filled up by the end of my Open House! Since it filled up before I had a chance to really advertise and send out an email to my customers about it, I'm considering doing this one again if there is enough interest.

I created a set of five note cards using the Ivy Lane Paper Pack and coordinating Stickease.  Stickease is great for creating quick cards when you don't want to do a lot of stamping.  The only stamping on these cards are the bible verses from the set Look To The Light.

I used a little bit of foam tape to layer the stickease in some places to give the cards more dimension and also added Bitty Sparkles to each card.  I wanted to keep the embellishment to a minimum so that these cards could easily be mailed without the need for extra postage.  I also inked the edges of each stickease with Bamboo ink to give it a more finished look.

These 5 cards and their envelopes fit perfectly into Close To My Heart's new My Creation Journaling Cards Box.   This journaling box is perfect for holding an entire set of our Picture My Life cards but I wanted to show another use for it.  Again, I used the Ivy Lane Paper to cover the box and added Stickease to embellish the outside of the box.

The large flower on the front is layered stickease and I adhered it to a cardstock shape that I cut using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.   Adding the stickease to the cardstock made it easier to adhere only the top portion of the flower leaving the lower portion free to move when the box is opened and closed.  I love the lacy border stickease!  It looks like I wrapped my box with lace!

Here are the products I used for this project:
