Happy 97th Birthday!

My Grandma will be celebrating her 97th birthday on Thursday!  I wanted to create a fun card for her and the Balloon Ride (X7180B) paper seemed to just fit her personality.   Balloon Ride is so carefree and happy. My Grandma is an amazing woman.  She still lives on her family farm, remarried at the young age of 87, and has traveled all over the world.  She was just featured in the Newburgh Magazine in an article "Love of  Lifetime".  You can read it here if you like - Newburgh Magzine.   It's on page 42.

    What a charming lady! I just had to read her story after the little glimpse you gave here. My husband's Grandpa passed away in 2013 at the age of 95. He was very spry and I often told him if I wasn't married to his grandson, LOL, I'd marry him. He remarried after a decade of living single back in like 2002, I think it was. And his (2nd) wedding was at a Las Vegas Drive-Thru Chapel. I'm sure your Grandma will be tickled pink to receive this lovely card. Have a great week!

Now, I want to share with a cute way to make a gift card holder!  I used the Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make this holder.  It was very simple!  The Cricut cuts the card and it folds so that you can slip a gift card inside! I set the cricut to cut at 5".  I recycled an old gift card so my card is a little thick.
